Need Help on A Fishing Paper Report.

Featured Replies

I have to do an agrumentaion paper, and i get to do mine on fishing. Ive found alot of websites trying to ban fishing which is part of the paper. We have to state the oppositions point of veiw. I already have some good ideas on why fishing shouldnt be banned. But i need some hard evidence like websites perferably not .com's. Any websites or articles anyone can point me to would be great. Thanks

Hard evidence of what? Does this boil down strictly to the question of whether they feel pain or not? I suggest you Google "fish feel pain" (without the quotes) and you'll get numerous hits. You could start by checking this article:

I think you have selected a topic with not a lot of hard evidence and should look else where if this is being graded on content and not mechanics.

I wouldn't give any of those organizations any  good arguements to use against us in the future.

I'll just say this, mother nature takes care of her own in her own ways, and some times, its very cruel.

If we didn't hunt deer in Texas, every so often, droughts happen, and if you haven't seen what starving deer look like, or starving deer that can't defend off illness due to malnutrition, isn't a pretty sight.

Thats just one positive on the aspect of controlling deer populations by hunting versus mother natures normal ways.

LMBV hit numerous lakes that were noted fisheries, not the soso fisheries.    Why?   No explanation or real known cause was ever stated, but thousands and thousands of big bass died.

Mother natures way of maintaining her checks and balances.

Yeah ive been doing more research, and i think my topic is too broad. Ive heard about somethings going on with chesapeak bay fishing. Anyone know of any hot topics going on with fishing right now? I need something where i can choose a side, so anything where i can be Pro fishing
