It seems like every football fan in the nation either loves or hates ND.  I hate them.  Therefore.....I LOVE Charlie Weis!!!

Just thought I'd share my sentiments.

How is Notre Dame supposed to succeed against quality teams with Weiss running things?  That man couldn't even succeed at gastric bypass surgery.

I was listening to ESPN talk radio the other day while I had to make a trip to Raleigh and the host was talking about 1's and 2's as far as head coaching goes.  1's are the guys that have that extra something to make teams succesfull,  2's are guys that have brains about football but are just lacking something.   Weis is the perfect example of a # 2 , he has the knowledge to be succesful but he is lacking something to motivate his team.

I agree with the #2 assessment.  I'd even take it a step farther and suggest that the "something" he's missing is discipline.

I LOVE Notre Dame football.

After bleeding burgandy and gold for the Skins, I bleed Navy and Gold.

Great game on Sunday (saw the second half) and a horrible ending.

Weis on the other hand, GREAT guy, great coordinator, great father to a daughter who is struggling, but not an ND guy. Better than Ty Willingham though. ha.

You're right, that is "ha" worthy.  The only thing "better" Weis has going for him than Willingham is his ability to get an abserd contract before proving himself.  Willingham started off 8-0 his first season, then had a couple of bad years, and was dropped.  Weis had a couple of good seasons, got offered the contract of the century, and the last two years has went 3-9 (my personal favorite year of ND football!) and 6-6.  Ya'll would have been better off keeping Ty, but as a non-ND fan, I LOVE CHARLIE WEIS!!! 8-)

Charlies days are numbered.

Im a WVU fan so its in my genetic make up to hate Notre Dame. Charlie seems like a super nice guy, hes just coaching the wrong team.
