Black lights

Featured Replies

Looking for a new black light w/white and black pointed toward the bank. My old light smoked after several years. Purchased a $25 light to get by with and its junk. What's the best light for the money today? Didn't want to pay $250. but!!!!!!!!!!!

I have heard good reports about the Nucli-Eye.

I just purchased an Optronics OPFL300L LED light.  It is cordless but also has a 12V plug.  Will try it this weekend to see if it's worth a chit.  It is pretty small and light, has UV on the outside, red and white on the inside.  Supposed to run 8 hours on one charge.

Looking at the Nucli-Eye. If you get to try your new light out I would like to know how it performs. The cheap light I purchased to get by with will not light the bulbs tip to tip. Will check the MoonLite out now. Thanks!

The Optronics is better than the cheap POS I was using last summer.  Illuminates the bank and the line pretty well.  Plus it was nice not having a cord running all over the boat.

Don't know what it retails for, but it would be a good deal at $50-60.  I fished for 4 hours last night, the light never lost any intensity.

Thanks for the feedback. I will look into those also. Would you need one of these for the person in back also?

Don't really know.  I had it on the front of the boat and I was alone.
