Spread the word Tin!  SJ is far superior to CM...let the frat boys think otherwise.

a handle for $9.50? Are you sure that's for drinking and not a disinfectant or something?

No joke dude, it is the well vodka for most restaurants and bars around here too.

You can get half pints for $1.89 or a pint for $2.99. It is the top-selling of all the spirits where I work. Probably go through two cases of handles a day and about a dozen or so 750's and liters. Around Christmas and Thanksgiving that number goes up tp about five cases a day.

Wow, where have you guys been, Sailor Jerry is way better!!!!

I have been drinking that stuff for years!

I first had it on my vacation to Hawaii uhm maybe like 7 years ago

Old Crow Robby??? Don't go below Evan Williams man.

SJ was a little too sweet for my taste.  I tried Spiced Jack and I thought that was pretty good, 94 proof and it tastes the same as regular Cpt.

I need a b at the beginning of my screen name.

Don't you east coast boys have a real booze like George Dickel?  Once you get passed the name it's a pretty good sour mash; just stay away from the #12. 8-)  Rocket fuel!

I know several people that drink George Dickel. When I'm low on money though I prefer Evan Williams. When I get my refund checks or around my birthday I normally jump for Crown or Buffalo Trace.

If anyone needs to warm up on a cold day, warm up some Wild Turkey Honey. That stuff is great.

As soon as summer hits I love Jack Sours. It is like Jack lemonade to me.

Tin have you tried Evan Williams Honey? I haven't but heard it tasted just as good for half the price.

Nope, but it sells real good at the store I work in. It is kind of sad but by far the most popular selling whiskey is Jim Beam or McAdams.

Although Jim Bead Red Stag is pretty dam yummy.

I heard the Red Stag was pretty good. Just a question, is the store you work in located in a college town?

Nope, actually a town that used to have a lot of money. It is sad to see people who used to buy $30 bottles of wine last year for dinner on the weekends now buying $7 bottles of Sutter Home. The same goes for beer drinkers, a lot of guys who used to drink Bud are now onto Natty or Genny. It seems as though people don't change what they buy when it comes to hard stuff though

Got ya. Was just going to see if your store did something to the one similar to the one in our college town. We get a 'student discount' on party night haha. 15% off with your student id.

Sailor Jerry > Captain Morgan

I have never heard of it but am going to have to search for it a little harder!

Evan Williams! I'm a beer man, but when I can't enjoy a Bear Republic Racer 5 or a good old Sierra Nevada, I'm always down for an Evan and Coke. Evan was all over The Classic.

Anyone ever had Appleton Estate? I first drunk it in Georgetown, Cayman Island. The only thing I remember after that was, I repeatedly told the cab driver he was driving on wrong side the road. ;D

That stuff is also good but very hard to get. Pretty pricey if I remember right, like $24 for a 750.

I was about to ask you that. I was wondering how often it shows up in liquor stores in United States.
