College baseball takes off this weekend (February 19-21) and it should be another great season.

There are a number of powerhouse teams that have a chance to make it to Omaha and win the CWS.

LSU, the defending National Champions, opens the 2010 season at 7PM this Friday versus Centenary in the new 10,000+ seat Alex Box Stadium. A sellout is expected for the three game series.

Here is the Rivals.com 2010 Preseason All-America Team:

C Dan Burkhart, Ohio State

1B Cody Hawn, Tennessee

2B Ross Wilson, Alabama

SS Christian Colon, Cal State Fullerton

OF Jarrett Parker, Virginia

OF Tyler Holt, Florida State

OF Bryce Brentz, Middle Tennessee State

DH Blake Dean, LSU

UT Danny Hultzen, Virginia

SP Taylor Jungmann, Texas

SP Anthony Ranaudo, LSU

SP Josh Spence, Arizona State

SP Deck McGuire, Georgia Tech

RP Addison Reed, San Diego State

RP Matty Ott, LSU

Any of you guys out there play high school, AAU or college baseball and if so for what teams???  :)   :)   :)

That is right Sam!  Gotta love some college baseball VT's team is always terrible, but love watching the CWS!

I go to The University of South Carolina. Our new stadium is awesome, but what do they give the students? We have a grass hill.  >:( The games are fun though.

I guess they want the students to pay full price to see the games.

Enjoy your time in school. It will be the best five or six years of your life.  ;D   ;D   ;D
