Seriously? Admiral Ackbar? will they get away with this? Will it be the coolest thing ever or will they end up being the laughing stock? i personally don't think they'll be able to do it. I think Colonel Reb' is much more appropriate, actually reflects local heritage ;D

Students introduced this character into the selection process.

Spielberg has not given them permission as of this date to the best of my knowledge to use the character.

It is funny but I cant' see it being selected. 

Forget being pc, and bring back Colonel Reb.

Schools are removing all PC nicknames.

Stanford is a tree; Indiana University of PA are now the Crimson Hawks; William & Mary is changing its nickname; LSU went from the War Between The States Fighting Tigers to just Tigers; and the beat goes on.

At LSU I named our dorm teams the Mother Truckers but we had to change it so I renamed the teams the Nads. Like in "Go Nads."  ;D   ;D   ;D
