Save

Featured Replies

It seems simple enough. By pressing that one little key, you can save not only your work, but also your sanity. For some reason or another, I failed to do so this afternoon. After spending the better part of three hours working on my final essay for one of my college courses, I hit print and lost everything. I had a few hand written notes to refer to, but for the most part, I had to start over from scratch. I know that my second essay was not as good as the first, but fortunately I only need a score in the low 80's to maintain an A in this class. Lesson learned- always hit save!

Your word program doesn't have a auto-save feature?

if youre using microsoft word it should also have an autorecover if the program should happen to crash. and you could turn on autosave as well and set it to save your work every 5 minutes or whatever

I have all my important programs set to auto save every 5 minutes.  that way if something happens, you don't lose much work.
