Calling all Fantasy Football or Baseball players!!!!

Featured Replies

Ok I need some information only you guys can provide. For those of you who are hard core about Fantasy sports this is for you.I know that most guys own several teams some for money and others for fun.

Would you consider hiring someone to help you mange your teams. I mean a real pro who for lets say $100 would help draft and manged  every team you had.

He would do the research and watch the league like an assistant but you make all the calls. In other words if your the president of the team he's the GM who lets you know your options and you make the call

I've just always wonder if people would pay for a service like that.

Think about it this way.

Your running back gets hurt and and you have to pick up a new one. So your GM emails you with lets say five guys that he thinks will work. You can look at them and research them and do what ever you like he is just a scout.

Don't think of it as someone doing the research for you but as a buddy helping you do the research. Two heads can look at a lot more than one.

And remember he is doing this for every team you got. Kind of like your eyes while you not watching.

For an avergage league I'd have to agree that it would take the fun out of it. However, if it was a high stakes league with a 4-digit entry fee, then it would probably be worth it. I'd imagine in Vegas it could be worthwhile.

I don't see anyone playing in leagues for bragging rights taking you up on that. It would require someone who had several teams that all were playing for payouts for it to be needed I believe. I wouldn't bank on a career of it. Neat idea though.

Thanks guys I wasn't banking on it as a career but I do have one last question. What if it was a free service? Would you join a website with a service like that.

I'd join a website for added information, kind of like a supplement to the stats/info provided by the fantasy site (Yahoo, ESPN, etc.).

I would not let someone draft for me...unless something came-up, and I could not make the draft.

Of course a Gm couldn't draft for you but he could help you set up a draft list or while your making your pick he can be look at who will be in the next round

No as a matter of fact I don't play fantasy sports. It was an idea a buddy and I had and I just wanted to see if anyone would pay for something like that. It was just a question that I had always wondered about and thought I ask it here.

I'm not trying to market anything I just wanted some opinions thats all.
