Just moved from the coast of N.C. to Concord.  I am really loving the area so far.  Equal distance ( about 35 min) to Lake Norman and Highrock Lake.  I am about 3 min from the Charlotte Motor Speedway and zMax drag stip and about 5 from the BPS at Concord Mills. Will be looking to buy a boat in the next few months to start fishing the big lakes.

Glad to see you got settled in. Well you left eastern NC and moved to where my brother is. he stays in a little town called Faith. Don't even think about asking him to go fishing, he can't fish a lick. Took him out last year and he messed up half the rods in my boat. ;D Are you still working for Uncle Sam?

Yeah I am still working for Uncle Sam.  It seems so much different here from Eastern N.C. but the same if you know what I mean.  I thought Jacksonville had the worlds worste drivers, but I was wrong.  If someone gets a flat and pulls over on the shoulder on 85 it backs traffic up for hours.
