Picking Up and Moving

I think you've already made your decisioin Rob, just need validation. Go get um pal, and good luck. :)

I think your right. I didn't think about this post as validation, but in retrospect I think it is that indeed.

Just remember that the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. Unless you really hate where you are now making a move might not turn out to be all lunker bass and good times.

I know where your coming from. My idea is that I am young, and not settled with too much holding me back. If I take the risk now, I can still have time to make a change. If I wait until I am say 40 (just an example) it may be a little harder to make the switch. I may very well go down there, and hate southern women, BBQ, and the fishing. If so I can move back, or somewhere else.

Thanks everyone who is replying...I like hearing the opinions, and experiences of others. Many of you have much more life experience (age) than me , and I am happy to learn from all of you.

I almost went to school at UNA in Florence. I probably would have failed out of school because I would probably spend all of my time on Wilson and Pickwick. ;D

I'm from the Tuscaloosa area and I agree that if you want pure bass fishing, there's no better place like Alabama. The BBQ isn't bad either. ;) If you roll into Tuscaloosa don't forget to stop in at Taco Casa.

If you got nothing holding you back then by all means go for it. Its was the people who weren't afraid to jump that taught us how to fly.

Lets just forget the about the large amount that didn't live to tell about the landing. lol

I agree with Redline on this.

I couldn't text you back and am now waiting on a new phone from Verizon. But I would go in a heartbeat and will be down to visit asap. lol
