Spinnerbaits

Featured Replies

Anyone heard of "The Raptor" spinnerbaits?  They have a head with a twist and flex midsection that moves 360 degrees to stop the bass from throwing the bait, they look pretty cool.  Has anyone tried these yet?  I just picked up two different ones to try out this weekend.

Have seen them in the literature but never tried one.

The premise is that the bait will move when the fish hits it making for more hookups.

I have taken a buzzbait and cut the shank in half and then reattached the sections with a barrel swivel and will give it a test tomorrow at a private pond in Dinwiddie County.

What we need is to have Jason buy some and give them a try and if they work then we can go and get some.  ;D   ;D   ;D
