I personally think the best place for Trout Fishing in Southern WV is the New River.  There is just such a wide variety of spots that you can hit all in one day.  What do you all think?

    I don't know if there is trout in the New or not.  I haven't ever went for them there.  

    My favorite trout fishing spots are the Williams River, the Cherry River, the Greenbrier and Knapps Creek.  As far as Southern WV, I don't get down that way a whole lot for trouting, but isn't Second Creek down that way, or am I mistaken?
