25 odd pounds. Caught her on a rod I layed down that had oatmeal on it.  Reeled her in and released it.  What is the biggest carp yall have ever caught?

I havent fished for carp in probably 10 or so odd years since I lived in Ohio,never really made it a point to have them weighed.I do remember catching a 58 pound white carp(white amur) these are strictly veggie eaters and are a nuisance in a lot of waters up there.They stock them to control weeds.Seems bad for bassin to me.Guess they do it so all the folks lined up on the bank with their bobbers and worms will have a spot to cast.Dont know.

  Still wish I had an old picture of that ugly thing.I got it put on a small local baitstore wall that has long since closed.

i caught a lil carp on a yellow perch spinnerbait / double silver blades

I was surprised to see a carp since the lake had tons of bass and pike, (pike like shiny, carp are shiny= pike going yummy yummy to all the carp)

I try to catch them, but never had any luck

I fought it for probably 5 mins trying to tire it out.  Then waited on the camera from the house and while i was waiting she would take off and i would have to tire her back out.  One of the most interesting catches of my life.  From now on i am gonna have a rod rigged and have some oatmeal with me.  A little twist in the day from bass.
