hey guys just wondering when shad spawn? summer? spring? thanks for any help.

Spring and fall here, possibly only spring where you are.

The major shad spawn is in late spring here.  Usually when water temps are very high 60's and low 70's.  But there tends to be multiple shad spawns through out the year.  The reason why the late spring one is so significant is because the bulk of the shad spawn at the same time.  The other spawns are sporatic throughout the summer months and are much much smaller.
