swimbait opinion

Featured Replies

I'm thinking about buying these to use for Northern Pike in Quebec next month. I was thinking I could use the blue or blue and chartreuse JJ's magic to color the backs to look like the whitefish.  I've never used swimbaits. If anyone has an opinion on these I'd appreciate it.

That bait would probably be fine i like the baits like the big hammer or the powerbait saltwater swimshad.

make sure you're fluent in french before the trip!

should be just fine.

i have many different paddle tail style soft swimbaits, and they produce quite well.......

personally i use the keel weighted swimbait hooks on them, and they keep a good action.

mrlite, if I want to run these at around 10-15 feet, what weight swimbait hook do you think I should use?

honestly......

i simply dont know??????????

i never fish at that depth, as i mainly fish from shore......

so i am quite honestly inexperienced with weighted hooks that would achieve your desired depth.
