Any of you folks that have fished the Rage Tail Shad, any tips on how to work them? Haven't been on the water with them yet, was wondering if they worked anything like Flukes? If not, some help would sure be appreciated ;). Thanks...

I like to fish them in slop or over weeds, really a no brainer to fish.  Just think buzz bait.  I have also had success around wood or when you find schools of bass on a shad binge.  Just experiment, use your imagination and have fun.  I have never fished them with a weight.....yet.  Might could make a decent jig trailer in dirty water or current also.

Hey Skillet, here is a link http://ragetail.com/home.html

The first video is the next generation baits on the home page.  The one below shows the shad action etc.  If you go to the shad product page it gives video and picture rigging instructions and a variety of other uses for deep cranking with swimbait hooks.  Give em a try and let me know what you think or if you have any questions.  4/0 EWG heavy wire hook works best for me for the shad.

As a topwater bait in the slop they are by far the best. I have had a blast with these things. Good luck to you.  ;D
