Titusville Reds...Its whats for dinner 8-20-10

Featured Replies

I used to fish the scottsmoor area every afternoon, but have not fished it since 1991. I was in Titusville for the day and was fortunate to meet up with Garry Amos Jr. for a couple of hours on the flats. The afternoon was getting blown out with S.E. wind gust to 20 mph, makeing fishing pretty tough. We pulled the plug and headed back to the launch. Not too far from the landing we see reds pushing next to a small island. We stoped and made a few cast. I hooked into this one and Garry hooked into another one. This was my first red in over 10 years. Thanks Garry!

Great fish, Shane.  I haven't been able to catch a Red in a long time.  Great fighting fish.  The fish in the first picture has some great color to it.  Gorgeous fish.
