Ever fished big saltwater ( 9" ) Sluggo's?

Featured Replies

I am going to try some swimbaits this year on a local lake for big fish. I saw some big 9" Sluggo's the other day in rainbow trout color. These Sluggo's are the bigger saltwater version. I have used them in Alewive color for Stripers on the Chesapeake Bay but, has anyone used them for big green bass?

No, but I found a 9" senko type bait on the bank once.  It was at the S. FL Boyz get together in West Palm Beach.  I showed it to Avid and WestPalmDude and TripleA.  Never seen anything like that for freshwater.  That thing was huge!  It was like a hose.  ;)

I wanted to shoot it before I picked it up.  Thank God I didn't, would have been quite the scene at the park.  ;D

I have never used the 9" Sluggo but I have used the 10" Fin-S-Fish with some luck.  It is not something that I throw a lot, but under the right circumstances it will make them bite.
