Bass tournaments on tape

Featured Replies

Does anyone here on the board tape or dvr the BASS tournaments like this weeks table rock that air on tv?  If so is there anyone that could make a cd or tape of all the events?  I would be willing to pay for it?

I would love to see BASS sell a season DVD.  Fill it with extras like behind the scenes stuff at weigh-ins and in boat stuff that they don't have time to show on TV.

I agree, a season DVD would be cool.  Or, at the very least, they should release episodes of Bassmaster (with the option to buy the full season) on the "TV Shows" section of the iTunes Store.  ESPN already has some entries there--The Contender, X Games, World Series of Poker--so I don't see why they wouldn't do the same for B.A.S.S stuff.

Hi there,

I would definitely agree with the idea that ESPN should produce some DVDs with highlights of each season. This would be great for those of us not residing in the United States, and thus with no access to ESPN2. I do have some tournament coverage that my relatives in CA have videotaped for me and send me over, and although it doesn't quite compare to the beautiful videos of LBH, it is still quite entertaining to watch. And for sure I would be buying some of these DVDs if they ever became available...

TRUUUUUUUUUU that would be so sick.  i would pay for that for sure.  i Also have been thinking latley about how they need to make a new updated video game.

New Video game!  That would be awesome.  I was just thinking about that earlier, maybe with some of the big lakes, have a superstar type game where you create a fisherman and then work him from small local tournaments all the way to the top, getting sponsors ect.  and even have an online mode where you fish against others live.  That would be AWESOME!

Hell yea... it seems everytime they make a game it was made by non-fishing programmers who don't understand all aspects of bass fishing.  They either need someone to emerge with a background in programming and is a bass fisher, or hire some real bass fishing fanatics to show them how its done.  ;) ;D

I'VE GOT IT... they could just ask all of us here what they should put in the game... you know the bass resource group can come together and design one hell of a fishing game. lol

they would make so much money off that. Some one should write a letter to B.A.S.S and recomend it.

Would make good winter time watching.  But knowing BASS, they'll price out my budget.
