Featured Replies

THE SECOND ANNUAL INDOOR FISHING TOURNAMENT AT THE GRAND RAPIDS MICH FISHING AND BOATING SHOW WAS HELD SATURDAY NIGHT. WAS HELD FOR ALL THE VENDORS AND SEMINAR SPEAKERS.

THE FISHING PRO's GOT THE BIG GOOSE EGG. BOTH KIM STRICKER AND DAVE LEFEBRE GOT A BIG FAT 0. DAVE DID PROTEST..SAYING HE DIDN'T GET HIS FULL 2 MINUTES...NOT TO SURE ON THAT, BUT HE MIGHT HAVE BEEN RIGHT....LOL...THE OFFICIAL TIME KEEPER WAS EITHER EATING OR DRINKING A BEER....LOL

WE HAD ALL TYPES OF FISHERMEN AND WOMEN TRY TO GET THE WINNING WEIGHT...WHICH HAD TO BE WELL OVER 6lbs...SINCE THAT WAS THE 4TH CATCH OF THE EVENING. WE HAD 60 ANGLERS IN THE EVENT. FLY FISHERMEN, STEELE HEADERS, WALLEY FISHERMEN, BASS FISHERMEN, AND EVEN KIDS TRIED THEIR HAND AT CATCHING THEM.

THE FISH TO CATCH WAS TROUT.

EVEN THE LOCAL DNR TRIED HIS HAND....BIG 0...LOL...THEN HE SAID WE DIDN'T HAVE A PERMIT TO CONDUCT THE TOURNAMENT...LOL

WE HAD LOTS OF DONATED PRIZES TO HAND OUT AND CASH PRIZES TO BOOT.

THE WINNER WAS DAVE ROSE, WRITER/PHOTOGRAPHER FOR FIELD AND STREAM. HIS CATCH WAS 6.6lbs, WHO ALSO WAS THE OFFICIAL TIME KEEPER...LOL

WAS GOOD TIMES FOR ALL...FREE FOOD AND DRINKS FOR EVERYONE WHO STAYED AROUND FOR THE FUN.

LASTED LONGER THAN I WANTED IT TO, THAT'S FOR SURE.... :D

THE EVENT WAS PUT ON BY SHOW SPAN, AND RAN BY NBAA.
