Collegiate HELP!

Featured Replies

Hey Guys, my name is Mitch Kistner, I am the president of the Arizona State University Bass Fishing Team and we will be fishing the ESPNU Smashmouth Collegiate championship...hopefully.

The thing is, is that as of now we do not have a boat to fish from. We drove to Texas a few weeks ago with our boats for the FOX College Sports Tourney and missed a week of school, so in order to fish this tournament we will need to fly out there and not drive, as we would miss too much school.

We are waiting on word from a local Boat Dealership out in Little Rock if they will give us a loaner boat, but it is coming so far down to the wire we need to get a boat.

If anyone has a boat that we could borrow from Wenesday Morning (Oct 17th) - Either Friday evening or Saturday Evening, depending if we make the top five or not, or you know anyone who would be willing to help us out, please let me know , it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks guys.

Tight Lines,

Mitch Kistner

Mitch,

Have you contacted the Arkansas Federation to make a request on their site or by sending a request to the clubs that have e-mail?

They may be able to help you.

Have you checked with your Alumni Association on campus to find out if they know of any ASU alumni that are bass fishermen?  Call or go by their office and ask.

Good luck.

No I have not contacted the Arkansas Federation and am in the process of looking for Bass clubs in AR.

I have not checked with the Alumni Association, but I have spoken with many Alum, but they are primarily located in Arizona. Thanks for the suggestions, I appreciate it.

Crankit,

Even though the Alumn Assn. is in Arizona they know people in Arkansas.

They also may know who fishes or who lives in the area where you will be fishing.

Rich and powerful alumni liming in Arkansas that may be able to help you.

You may want to go to your Alumni Assn. web sit and pull up the alumni clubs in Arkansas and contact their president.

Good luck.

Hey I would try asking some of the college clubs in Arkansas. They might be able to give you a lead. You could always try facebook if you have it. I know there is a smashmouth group. Maybe someone in there can give you a lead.
