Co-Anglers

Featured Replies

I am going to fish the Bass Weekend Series this season, and noticed that the Co-anglers have a 3 Fish Limit. I think I will like this rule. I have never had to good of a draw in the other 5 fish draws to benefit from a 5 fish limit ::). I have always had to work hard for the 2-4 fish that I bring to the scales. Anyone else like this? :)

I really like it because I can slow down and concentrate better once I have a limit, also I have noticed that most often the coanglers that have fished in the same weekend series as me oftentimes dont bring in more than 3-4 fish anyways.

PS: Which ones are you fishing in SC, because I might be fishing some too this year

I started fishing the weekend series 2 years ago and at first I thought it was a joke to only fish for 3 fish , boy was i wrong. When in the back of the boat it is all you can do to put 3 fish in the well some days. I quickly found out that it is a fair deal, it can be a rough place in the back and to get 3 good fish in a day can be harder than you think. Good Luck in your fishing.

Takes some of the pressure off the guy in the front too. Not alot on a one day deal, cause we're gonna drain a honey hole in a one day, but I'll pull out after 5 in a longer tourney to save for the next day. I wish the opens were still 3.
