KVD on lake Dardanelle

Featured Replies

Call me crazy but while I was watching the Bassmaster coverage on ESPN this past sat. of the Diamond Drive I noticed that early in the program KVD was fishing out of a traditional single console Nitro Z-9 bass boat then later on in the show he was bringing fish into a Z-9 CDC center console boat....What is up with that? Was there an extra film day for KVD during the production week to get footage of him catching fish????

I haven't watched the show, but usually The Bassmasters features footage from the first couple of days during the early part of the program.

Perhaps VanDam had boat troubles and had to switch boats.

Might have been boat trouble??? It was just one of those things I noticed and got puzzled on. :D

Like Burley said more than likely he had engine or boat issues and had to switch to a back up.

back up boat....lol....bass fishing is starting to sound like nascar....wow those guys reallly have it made...they get to fish the best lakes in country out of the best boats and all their rods, reels, tackle...ect are free...they are really living our dream...if my boat had engine trouble at a tourney i would be finishing it with the trolling motor lol...

Yes, but you aren't sponsored by Nitro and you also aren't fishing for large sums of money.
