FLW East at the Big O

Went the final day's weigh-in and was happy to see Scott Martin finally win one on his home waters.  He ended up with a monster stringer on the last day to beat out John Cox.  One of the angler commented that the fishing is on now at the Big O with the spawn in full swing.  He stated that the last hour or so of the tournament he boated a bass on EVERY CAST and caught about 150 total for the day.  WOW!  Can't wait to go out to the Lake this week!!!

Congrats Scott Martin!!

Ill be there next weekend and a couple times a week for the next month.

:D I've got 6 tournaments up there the next 8 weeks. Maybe even I can do good  8-)

If you are going down to the Big O now, or in the next two months, you will find that there will be bedding fish there during that time.

I have fished down there during this time frame for a very long time.

There will be several waves of fish moving up to spawn on the full moons during that time frame. We just had a full moon, so bass should be putting thier "satin sheets" all over the waters there  right now.

If you hear Barry White music eminating from the waters, fish RIGHT THERE...{LMAO} !!!

Lots of shallow water areas to fish there that will have Bass beds all over the place.

Scott and his dad Roland both use an airboat to find these shallow bedding fish prior to tournies there, as well as thier conventional bass boats, and of course, they also rely on thier extensive knowledge of seasonal patterns on Big O.

Try FLW online, but I think it will air as part of the FLW on Versus or OLN, I forget which one carries it.
