I want to join a club this year but I don't really know how they are ran. I have looked on Bassmaster.com but didn't get a lot of info. How exactly are they ran?

Do they just have their own tournaments, then with the results of those tournaments, pick their people to send to the state tournament?

My thing is I will probably be joining alone. Can you join a B.A.S.S. club and fish alone?

I too was interested in the Federation a couple years back.  There was link on the BASS website to contact the State Fed.   So I twice tried to contact them via that link.  Never did get a response.

I joined a club with the BASS Federation Nation of Virginia this year. It is best if you go to the site and find your region or a region you want to fish in. Most of the clubs have a web site listing their home waters and contact info.

Our club has boaters and non-boaters who we pair up but it is common for people to fish alone.  One or two of the members are fishing to move up in bigger tournaments but most of us just do it for the fishing.

I called Bass at 1-877-227-7872,and talked to the Tournament Director to get a line on some Federation Club's in the area,and was glad I did.You could even try FLW at 1-270-252-1000,and request info on your states Federation Club's.I'm not sure it will Help,but it worked for me.
