It's 85% open with a small amount of thin ice. A few warm days will have it ready to go. Anyone interested in going please call me Saturday night the 12th and I'll let you know if the ice is gone.

Five Alive Bassmasters would like to thank all 26 teams who participated in our tournament. It was a cold windy day with air temps in the lower 40's. Water temperature was 38-39 degrees and reaching the lower 40's in the shallows in the late afternoon.

52 guys were fishing and only two people caught bass. They were caught on the same boat. The winning team was John Musto and Wally Jacob(Pictured to the right). There two fish totaled a weight of 7.30 lbs and a lunker of 4.35lbs. Congratulations to them both on a tough day of bassin!

Wasn't able to make the tourney, but glad to hear you were able to pull it off.

Sounds like you all had a tough day on the lake.

Better luck next time.

PS: I might be getting in touch one day soon about possibly joining your club if you are still taking members. Maybe sit in on a meeting or two?

We always welcome anyone to our club. Feel free to stop by a meeting.

This entire March has been brutal. Water temp is still very cold. There has been two other tournaments at Assunpink since mine and 3 fish has won them both!

Do you know of any tournaments that allow non-boaters in NJ. I been fishing for years, and decided to try tournament fishing.

Thanks

Greg

Im looking for a Bass Fishing Club in NorhtEast P.A.,near Hazleton. Im looking for c lub that doesn't stress tournament fishing.I got nutin against tournament fishing or the people who fish them .I just like to keep fishing my relaxation time and I really don't want competion to destroy that sense of relaxation. Not to mention that I don't usually put a ton of fish in the boat on a consistant basis, even if I did I would still keep it simple and just fish to fish.
