NE Michigan Bass Clubs

Featured Replies

Does anyone know of any NE michigan bass clubs?  I need to get more experience before I start tournament fishing and I think joining a club is the way to go. I am not looking for tournament fishing. I want to get out with more experienced anglers and learn as much as I can without cash on the line. I would hate the thought of someone losing their chance at cash because of my inexperience.

I don't know any real bass anglers up here so if anyone else is in the Mio, MI 48647 area and fishes alone I'll split gas if we use your boat or we could use my stump jumper.

Any ideas?

HERE IS AN IDEA.. ;)...FIND OUT WHEN AND WHERE THE CLOSEST TOURNAMENT IS GOING TO BE HELD.....GO CHECK OUT THE SITE AND SEE WHAT BOATS SHOW UP.   FIND OUT WHEN THE WEIGH IN BEGINS AND SHOW UP 15 - 30 MINUTES EARLY.  SEE WHO HAS THE LARGEST SACK AND TALK TO THEM TO FIND OUT WHO CAUGHT THE FISH AND ASK IF YOU COULD SOMETIME GO FISHING WITH THEM TO LEARN SOMETHING FROM THEM.  GIVE THEM YOU NUMBER..SK FOR THEIRS AND SEE WHAT COMES FROM IT.  MAKE NEW FRIENDS THAT WAY TOO.

JUST MAKE SURE YOU LET THEM KNOW...YOU ARE NOT WANTING TO LEARN ABOUT TOURNAMENT FISHING...JUST WHAT WORKS IN THE AREA.

MIGHT WORK.....NEVER HURTS TO TRY.
