Tournament Flexibility

We just voted to amend our Club's tournament rules to allow our Tournament Committee to schedule 11 tournaments to give our members some flexibility.

You get points for 10 tournaments, with two throw-aways.

You can fish the 11th tournament for fun but those points will not count towards the club standings.

At the tournament draw, you have to declare if you will be fishing the tournament for club standings or fun.

We did this to give us the latitude to allow guys more options due to family obligations and places they do not want to go to fish.  :)

Great idea.  Our club is having 4 weekend tournaments and 3 weeknight tournaments to try to get as many people participating as possible.

UPS,

That is a beautiful place in your photo.

Nice fish, too.  :)

Yes it is a beautiful spot.  It is where my kids go to Cub Scout Camp.  Word got around at camp that I had caught that fish and kids from other packs were calling me the "Bassmaster"  Fun little lake to fish with my canoe.
