Starting a club in central Alabama

Featured Replies

We are starting a small club in Alabama and plan to begin fishing tournaments in March of 2010.  Hopefully we will continue to grow and as of right now we are looking at starting off with around 10-15 boats per tournament.  Our membership is from all over the state of Alabama and we will be fishing an 8 tournament schedule the first year and trying our best to spread it out a little to take everyone's travel time into account.  Along with the 8 points tournaments, we are also planning to have several smaller tournies, a few crappie tournies, a father/child tournament, and at least one charity event for Toys-For-Tots.  If you are in Alabama or one of the surrounding states, we welcome you to join us.  For more information, the club's website is www.alabamafishingbuddy.ning.com.

We will be holding an organizational meeting early in October and will elect officers and start getting the schedule and rules in place at that meeting.  Feel free to email me at Robert@alabamafishingbuddy.com for more information.
