No Varner Hawgs, but good 'nuff

Featured Replies

My buddy Matt (Fatman1267) and I visited a local farm pond today, and had some success. The biggest one weighed almost 5 pounds, and was caught on a Strike King bleeding chartruese spinnerbait. The other was caught on a Berkley Beast in watermelon/red flake.

We were fishing in a small town just outside of Kansas City, MO.  It actually was not that bad yesterday.  Air temps in low 50's, slight breeze.  It didn't get cold until almost dark.

That's about what we are looking at today, in RI, also.  Guess where I'll be,lol.

good 'nuff? That's a great fish. A trophy in most anyones book. Good job.

P.S. We concider ourselves very lucky to have a lake like Varner to fish. We are more than happy to take folks from this site out there when they are in the area.
