curious conditons in SE Florida

Featured Replies

In October it was it was in the low 60's and in mid January the temps are over 80 degrees.

I launched at noon.  It was slow going all afternoon.  picked a few here and there but no big deal.

I was noticing beds but most of them looked abandoned.  Not clean and cared for like usual.

It occurred to me that the bass were back to a summer pattern so I stayed out till after dark.

sure enough the bite picked up about an hour after sunset.

I caught em on flukes, a whittler wake bait, and the big hitter of the evening the spro bronzeye in black

I caught several on it with the biggest at 4.5 lbs.

I didn't want to ruin my position as reigning king of the lousy photo.

PS>  I did put a pistol to his head.  "Fins up Osama"

"Mr. Teste teaches avid how to take a photo."
