hand poured 3.5" Buzz Frawgz?

Featured Replies

I have some that I got from Xcite Baits. They are a fine little bait on the lake I fish. Also check out Micro Munch's ToadZilla (www.micromunchtackle.com). I believe it's the same mold.

I had some given to me to try and didn't like them. They didn't have much action in the legs and it just kind of skipped along the surface. They were poured by a local guy and it could have also been that his plastic was poured too hard for the legs to kick. They were very tough and lasted a long time but no action or kick in the legs.

I tried them out on Sunday and got some major hits! Worked them over some submerged grass/weeds and had a blast even though I wasnt able to land anything. Still not convinced they are any better than the stanley ribbit and with the ribbit you dont have to order them.

The ribbit frog is one of the best...

the buzz frog is also good,

maybe try to slow down the retreive on the buzz to get the feet to

kick right.

manns hardnose frogs are awesome love the action..its great for calm mornings or days but if theres anywind its hard to get a bite becuase there more like a eighth ounce buzzbait. so in calm conditions i like those but in windy somthing with more bulk and more kick....but who knows im going to try the rage tail shad this weekend and hopefully i do good on them.
