On the nest.

OK, traditionally I have missed this time of year, but there were a few fish on the beds at the local pond.  I walked right up on a fish and he saw me and didnt run off, so I knew he was catchable.  I backed off and began fishing.  Worked him for about 45 minutes and threw everything I had with no success.  about 10 minutes later another guy walked up with a small white lizard and caught the same fish within 10 minutes.  A really nice 3 1/2 or 4lber.  I had tried lizards, but not a white one.  Was it the color, or is there a certain spot on the bed that he hit, that I did not.
