I was plan on getting up at 5am and get to lake and fish until noon and come home go to work. But I accidently slept in and when I woke up I asked dad if he want to hit the lake for 3 hours before I gotta go to work. He said sure.

So we launch where we usually have the tournament and we ran up from the landing all way up to the holston river. Boy am I glad we did. Dad caught a 11 inch spotted bass, then I hook this 1-09. We kept trying to duplicate the pattern didnt get anymore. Then we had to go back so I can go to work.

I miss the days where I could fish and not worry about work. But i guess dad was right when he said "son, you gotta have a job so you can do the things you love."

Anyway here the two pic, he was only 1-09, but thought I'd share anyway.
