I stopped by a yard sale today and got:

6' Penn PG 1160 light action rod with a penn 1000 power graphite spinning reel

6"6 Berkley Hunter Graphite MH rod with a shimano ax2000 spinning reel

7'MH Berkley select ultra max casting rod with a cu200 shimano curado bantam baitcaster

6'6 M Berkley lightning rod with a ci200 shimano citica bantam baitcaster

and I got all 4 of them for a grand total of $10.00

How much do you think these are worth?

I also got a tackle box full of stuff for another $20.00

You got 2 great reels if they are functional.

well the curuado is 180-200 bucks new

and the citica is 100-120 bucks new

lightning rods are about 30-40 bucks new

and i dont know much about anything else you got

but if those are in great shape, then you TOTALLY scored!

Well if they work I'd say they could be worth 350.00 new!!

Thanks for the info guys. I took one of the spinning rods out today and it worked great w/out even cleaning it up. So I think they were taken care of. The women said they were her sons and he passed away. I have been wanting to learn how to use a baitcaster so I am gonna do some reading and give them a try next week.

you should post pictures if you can, so we can see what kind of shape they are in.

That makes me want to start searching for yardsales on Saturdays and Sundays. Those are some awesome deals you got there. I am very jealous.
