Bittersweet Weekend

Featured Replies

Went to Kentucky Lake for the weekend. My intent was to fish the Hot August Night Tournament out of Moors Resort. I had line up a partner last week who had backed out. Lined up a second partner who backed out just a few hours before the tournament.

I choose not to enter the tournament as I don't think it is safe to night fish alone. Well I launched that evening to fish a few hours alone and within 1 1/2 hours I had over 20 pounds with one of the fish I believe to be a pb. Of course the batterys were dead in my scale. I learned that a little over 18 lbs. won. I had a great evening, but should have entered the T.

Sunday AM early, I made a 25 mile run south down the lake. I caught 4 but not really what I was looking for. Should have saved the gas and went back to where I was Saturday eve.

Fun anyway .............
