Me and my fishing buddy went out fishing yesterday at about 1 oclock...I had a bad feeling about this day...because the temp. was 106 degrees.....well needless to say, i freakin hammered them! cought 5 on a chart/white double colorado spinnerbait...all of them were about 15 inches and a chart/white chatterbait...my cousin cought one on a yellow spinnerbait, and had a nice one on a firetiger crank, but it broke the  hook......i coiuldnt believe that we cought fish  in this heat!!!! did anyone else do good yesterday?

I am heading out to Busch Wildlife as soon as I get off work today.  We will see what happens.

busch wildlife is a tough place to fish anytime...just for the fact, that its way over fished...let me know how you did.

I caught two shorts.  Busch is weird to me, some days everything clicks and then other days I only catch a couple dinks.  But I don't have a boat so Busch is the best place I can think of fishing in the St. Louis area.

I think the summer are some of the best fishing months on Lake Fork.     Hard on fishermen this year, normally we have some windy days out there, but this year, with Junes rains that carried over into July, we have had very little wind all summer.

With the current heat and lack of wind, its brutal on the fishermen on the water.

We were out for 2 hrs only yesterday evening, only managed 7,   2-14 inchers, and the rest were 3.5 to 4.5 lbs.    The better fish have been night bites lately.

Well I live in central pa and me and my buddy went out tuesdayy and did pretty good . Now I know that it ain't near that hot here but I caught 2 13 inchers and 1 14 with a couple smaller ones which is pretty good for me I caught 3 googlie eyes. My buddy caught 18 smallies several of which were at least thirteen, he caught 11 googlie eyes and 2 fall fish now I know that a fall fish ain't nothin to brag about but one of them suckers was pushin two ft long since we didn't get to measure it and didn't get a picture of it it is just a fishin story. We both also had one each on that were both definitely legal out of the same hole isn't this kinda odd beins that they are aggressive predatory fish. My bigger fish were all on a 5" senko but the smaller ones were on a 6" Strike King floating lizard texas rigged with weight. I don't exactly understand this either I was always told bigger bait bigger fish so this confuzzed me. The only thing I can say is that this is not always true.
