Sunday series tourney, 8/19

Featured Replies

Fished a sunday series tournament on the Pamunkey river (in central VA)  this morning and man was it tough. Me and Triton9's dad drew boat #48 and were basically the last guys to launch, but even after the late launch I managed our first 2 keepers within 45 minutes of the launch on a Stanley bull ribbit. But the river became the dead sea for about the next 3 hours until we finally caught a few nonkeepers and our third and last keeper of the day with about 20 minutes to go on a chart/white spinnerbait.

Our weight was a measly 3.53lbs

I think the winner had like 9.6lbs or something like that, and big fish was 3.77lbs. But it wasn't a complete loss as I enjoyed it and I will be fishing another sunday series on sept 2nd.
