8/16/07-100 F cr/bait Bass

Featured Replies

Started at the swamp pond at 11 AM with air temps at about 100 F and water temps in the high 80s.  Caught a couple of dinks on a Swimming Senko and then as I got to deeper(8-10') water, I started throwing a new Aragon cr/bait that was gifted to me by the owner of that web store.  I caught a 2 lber and then a 3 lber on it.  It's amazingly snag-free in this underwater stump infested pond.  Fished until 2:30 PM and headed home to a shower and AC.

Dan, those Georgia bass sure long and skinny......

Up here in Kentucky, we're, I mean they're shorter and chunkier ;)

As always, nice bass!

Yo Dan,

Every fish you catch is on a different JDM lure,

When you are running the big clearance sale?

You KNOW I'm interested.

Keep posting those pix dude.

Nice looking fish and lures. I might have to order some of those lures. How do you like the sol reel and what rod is it on? I'm thinking of getting one but not sure if I should get that or the new daiwa advantage hsta.

Thanks y'all. :)

SS:  I love my Sol and my Pixies too.  They are are not 'stock' though.  All 3 of them have been modified by a man out in Texas.  He goes by D.R. on Tackle Tour.  Included were upgraded(ABEC 5s) bearings and Smoothie drag washers.  I like them better than the more expensive Custom Daiwas I have.

That's a JDM Megabass Shiryu rod.  It's glass with spiral-wound guides and made for cr/baits and other treble hook baits.
