Nice evening at the pond

Featured Replies

Met up with Triton9 after we got home from school and rode our bikes 2 miles or so up to "Russel's" pond. This place is the definition of lunker factory, we don't usually catch a lot of fish but the ones we do catch are mules. Anyway, I had a dropshot rigged up with a 6" robo sculpin FX in aaron's magic/red flake on the 6'6" MH Loomis and 12lb fluoro. After about 30 minutes of throwing I got bit, set the hook, and then she took off through the thickest weeds she could find. I eventually got her in and looked to be about 4-4 1/4 lbs and she had a HUGE gut on her, not a giant but I was pleased. That was my only good fish of the evening, and if I'm not mistaken I believe T9 got the big goose egg for the evening ;D ;) just messin with ya buddy 8-)

Now if he could only figure out how to get the dang pics off his phone then I could show yall how she was... ;)

Nice catch..............waiting for the pics........ :)
