Pamunkey River, 10/6

Featured Replies

Hit the Pamunkey this morning and was looking forward to a good day as the forecast called for overcast and cloudy all day, however the tide did not cooperate.

It was dead low when we got to the ramp @ 7:00 and was a steady incoming for the rest of the 5 hours we were out there. We did manage to get 5 and one decent one though...

This one hit one of my homemade 5/16oz watermelon/brown finesse jigs.

My dad caught this little spotted bass on a war eagle spinnerbait, notice how bright red the eyes are

The water temp was around 73-74 all day, so just a couple more weeks before the smallmouth and Spotted bass bite should really light up.

Nice Fish.   :)

I love those overcast days.
