11-7 Champion Don and myself headed out at 7:30 or so to see what we could find. We ended up fishing all over the place and putting 36 fish in the boat. Top lure was a Texas rigged worm, followed by a Senko. Our best spot was an area Randy Sanders told us about earlier in the day. I also got camera duty, as I was called over to take pics of Randy's 7#.

11-8 I almost didn't go at all, but the decision to go in Don WWF's boat would make for a memorable day to say the least. As we idled from the ramp, Don and I discussed where we should try. I suggested that we try a totally different area. As we arrived, it just didn't look "right". Despite our doubts, we immediately began catching fish and it never stopped for the next 6.5 hours.

Chug Bugs, Senkos, and Long A's accounted for 107 fish. Biggest was 3.5 pounds, but we had plenty of nice chunks too.

11-9 I had the chance to go the next morning after our "slugfest" from the day before. Only a moron wouldn't jump at this chance!!LOL

Overnight, the fish just shut down and the entire weekend went downhill from there according to credible sources. In the first 4 hours of daylight, I only got 11 Bass and to add insult to injury, they were smaller too. Ughhh!!

See ya out there!

It amazing how the fish can turn off like that. Notice its always after you hit them good and you are expecting them to be as cooperative as they were the day before if not even more. But thats fishing, lol.

Any reason why they shut down? cold front...

Yeah, but then there was today.  :o
