was very windy today, temps about 60 i guess, bright sun.  we hit the golf course and they didnt want anything to do with a trap.  so i tied on a jig...eakins jig, 5/16, missouri craw in color with a watermelon red baby paca craw trailer.  i cast as far as i could straight out into the deepest water i could get to.  worked it back really REALLY slow.  i caught 5 my buddy caught one.  1-11, 1-4, 1-6, 1-9, and 1-1 were the weight of the decent ones.  then the wind died off and so did the fishing.  normally we catch tons of dinks and a few decent fishin this spot, today was te opposite.
