winter dinks

Featured Replies

drug my girlfriend out the other day to go fishing at a little "impoundment" right next to the bay. the spot is prob about a quarter mile long an only twenty feet wide. in the summer it is much larger but not till the water level rises. right away we noticed the water was alive with action despite the cold. i didnt even know what i was going to pull out since this spot is an overflow for the marshlands. well to my surprise i did catch a few bass and a few white perch side by side. we totaled about 15 littlfish in about 20 min. by then the wind off the bay had frozen us so we called it a day. everything was caught on small in-line spinners but i couldnt get anyone big enough to go after my senko or any large lures. i also thought it was wierd because around here u mainly see white perch in saltwater, not cruising next to bass. i cant wait for summer!
