Caught the first fish of the season today :) After fishing a cooling lake that just opened by my house and catching nada, I stopped by a local public pond by my house. It was half frozen yesterday but rain and warmer weather unfroze it completely. By the time I got there It was around 25 degrees and snowing. I started throwing a Sebile lipless crank parallel to a well known drop off next to the bank. Not huge but more than enough fish to ward off cabin fever for a little while. ;)
