Good news and bad news

Featured Replies

Good news: Weather was nice and with the time change had some time to go to the pond after supper Thursday night.

Bad news: only had about a half hour.

Good news: With the recent rain we've had the pond is almost back to the normal level. :D :D :D

Bad news: there is none for this. The drought has been pretty bad.

Good news: After a couple throws, my megabait charlie swimbait was ABSOLUTELY clobbered.

Bad news: Lost it. In my haste to make the most of my limited time that I had did not check the drag. It was still backed off all the way after I put it up last fall.

Good news: Got another hit few minutes later.

Bad news: Got it to the shore and getting ready to lip it when it threw the hook, flooped one time on the ground and swam off.

Good news: Great evening to be on the water.  Weather was nice, pond is up and I saw some spawning beds.

:)
