3 More Bass - New PB for Year!  (Pics)

Featured Replies

I had a good outing at the local backwater area near my house.  I've been frequenting some public ponds now that I can drive, but I had an hour to kill so I went down the road.  I managed to catch three bass, two dinks but one pushing 2 lbs, a new PB for this year.  Hey, it's not huge, but it's a start for the year.

Here are some pics for you.

The new PB. Weight is iffy, I guessed two pounds, more or less.

Thanks for looking and tight lines everyone!

Congrats on your new PB! I would like to offer some advice if that's ok. Try your best to get the fish back in the water as soon as possible and avoid laying them on the ground for any length of time.  If you put them back healthy they will grow much bigger for your new person best in the years to come ;)

Thanks for the advice.

Usually I do try to snap a photo and release, just wanted a different angle on this one to show his length.   ;)

congrats on the new pb.

good job.  my start of the year was 3 lbs and i was fishing off a 8 foot bluff had to slide it up a mud bank so i could unhook it.

nice job! That fish looks a little bigger than two pounds to me.

I concur. i would say closer to 3lbs.

good job!

Well done TF! I'm guilty of laying a bass or 2 down and snapping their picture myself.

I'm certain you handled her well and she lived to fight again another day.

:)
