Purdy little fish

Featured Replies

I took my wife fishing at a small (600 acre) lake this morning.  Things didn't go as I'd hoped. I was wanting to get her into enough fish to keep her interested but I failed miserably. I only got three hits and one of those got off (no big deal, I believe it was a throwback anyway). But one that I got was a purdy gal. I didn't weigh her, but she measured 23" in length. I haven't fished enough tournaments the last few years to be any good at guessing weights anymore  ;D  Seems like I get a pretty good one every few outings. I gave up fishing large lakes unless my grandpa needs a fill-in partner for a tournament and got a small boat just to fish this lake because it has a 25 hp limit.

Nice fish

You need a scale to weigh your fish.

That was a pretty stringer you had that fish on.
