going out saturday and sunday

Featured Replies

me and my buddy are taking my new bass boat out for its maiden voyage this weekend hopefully all goes alright. the water in the early morning is 56 degrees and by afternoon hovers around 62. the lake is 36,000 acres and so many coves with alot of brush and rock in them. just wondering what you guys think my approoach should be. oh and the water clarity is stained to clear. my approach is going to be a watermelon *** finesse worm on my finesse rod. on my flipping rod a watermelon jig with a sweet beaver in watermelon red. cranking rod/spinnerbait rod is going to be a chartreuse shad crankbait or white spinnerbait. and i also am going to have a swim jig on another rod. if you guys have any other suggestions let me know. i would have more rods with other stuff on them but im letting my friend use them becuase this is his first time fishing since he moved down here so he doesnt have anything.
