Great outing!

Featured Replies

Tonight was almost a repeat of my last two trips. Last week I fished a farm pond and caught 16 largemouth and 3 smallies, smallest fish was 12 inches, biggest 16 1/2 inches. All of these were on a 1/4 ounce spinner, baby bass color. Last night I all but repeated that with catching 18 largemouth, smallest was 11 1/4 inches, biggest was 16 inches. It was cloudy, so I threw a white tiki stik, rigged texas style, no weight. Last night I quit after I released # 18, then picked up tonight where I left off, and ended up catching 10 tonight, smallest was 13, biggest was 16 3/4. Today was very sunny, so i switched to a somewhat more natural color, same worm, the tiki stik, but in a cinnamon/blue flake color, also rigged texas with no weight. Two of them though were on the spinner I used in the first of the three trips, I was rippin it through the grass tryin to "Wake 'em up", and got two reaction strikes. I am very pleased with these three trips, they have kept me well in the lead for our club. I have also learned a lot about the way bass move in ponds. Sorry no pics, the kodak program is being a little picky on the computer. I hope to keep my good streak goin!!!!!
